Dajuan Henry is the founder and CEO of Yung Society Clothing based out of Toledo,Ohio (419). He put the whole clothing line together as far as designing, sewing and managing EVERYTHING. Dajuan does receive help from his friend (Darnell Brown) who he is also coming out with his own clothing line, Living Lavish (big shout out to him). Dajuan Henry’s clothing line is releasing in June 2015. His website is under construction right now.

Dajuan says, “I want to start off with yes I am young and it is a struggle dealing with school, working and still trying to be a kid. But I have BIG DREAMS AND I WILL ACCOMPLISH THEM and that is the meaning behind Yung Society Clothing.” The whole idea of creating a clothing line came out of nowhere. One day he was just looking at famous clothing lines on Instagram and was wondrering what if he made his own clothing line, so he just gave it a shot. One day in November of 2014 (when he started designing) he went out and bought a computer and that whole day, he made clothes until like 2 a.m. the next morning. Dajuan hopes that this would be enough to get his family out of Toledo, knowing he has to provide for his family is nothing but motivation. He wants to be a trendsetter and show everyone that you can do anything you put your mind to and take his generation in a new direction.

I appreciate Dajuan’s hustle and determination to make a name for himself and to help his family. In order to be successful you have to invest, in anything you do YOU HAVE TO INVEST. Investing in something productive that actually helps the community benefits everyone: you make money, people get products, etc. Some of the designs I really love like the Lil Bibby x Free Crack crewneck, for example. I really think if he takes the time to create some more things and not use the same celebrities he could have a really successful clothing line. Like throw Brittany Renner or Kobe Bryant on a crewneck. (omg Kobe dunking on a crewneck *heart eyes emoji* he’s my obsession). Add a couple dope bucket hats and some socks, but expand his horizon with the designs nevertheless. He wants to be a trendsetter the only way to do that is to make unique designs. Just food for thought, ya know. But all in all, he’s getting off to a great start.
