Jeffery first picked up a camera 3 years ago in June. He has always liked art, but never thought that he'd be a photographer when I was little. He always liked art but never had enough money to buy himself a camera then eventually he did. Out of all of his friends, Johnson has always had a strong liking for sunsets and nice locations. Jeffery states, “They would make fun of me, in a joking matter but now it's my career. Haven't put it down ever since.” He decided to go to college to study business under the instruction of his uncle because he told him that ‘you only make money in photography in certain seasons.’ His end goal is to be a celebrity photographer that works for agencies & travel the world.

What inspires him is to actually help others and see other people make it and be successful. It lets him know that it's possible.

I came across Jeffery's work through one of my followers on instagram, Alexis (@TheRealBlasian (Yes we're both named Alexis lol)). I was immediately intrigued by his Calvin Klein series, I liked his use of lighting and focus. (I think those are photog terms lol, don't judge me). Scrolling through his instagram you can tell he's really serious about his craft and he grows with each photoshoot. Jeffery's pictures are quality photos and if Alexis works with him then he's really good because Alexis only works with the best. (It feels weird typing Alexis because I feel like I'm talking in third person lol.) Anyways, I was creeping, as I so often do, and I noticed he graduated from JSU already and that's great that he has something to fall back on, it shows his maturity and intelligence. I'm doing the same thing, I want a career in fashion but I'm currently enrolled at UTA as a Criminology and Criminal Justice major (Police Officer then Lawyer). Because realistically, a career in fashion isn't promised, it's actually a really slim chance that you "make it". A lot of successful people only want to work with their usual people and so there's no room for variety, so he's very smart for having a back up plan. I'm very interested to see what he does next (black and white series, hopefully *emoji eyes*). I'd also like to work with him (yes I do model occasionally because I'm clearly gorgeous lol *nail emoji*) and I honestly can't say that about everyone and keep a straight face. But..... Be on the lookout for him because he's up next.
