Loyol NYC

Loyol NYC is a streetwear brand located and founded in Queens, NY by Jonathan Archie and Brandon Turner. It started in the year 2013, branched off of previous potential brands that they, the founders, had in mind. While Loyol may have began in 2013, Jonathan and Brandon, both, developed an interest in the fashion industry at the age of 15 and loved to draw and sketch up ideas everywhere they went. And from that age and on they decided to create their own clothing with the designs they had in mind, but they never had the right guidance. While they wanted to set a new trend apart from the identical brands everyone wore, they also wanted to deliver and expose the message to be leaders and not followers at the same time. So when they formulated the name Loyol, they wanted it to mean to Live Out Your Own Life. Now 18, they have become fully inclined to the daily activities of their brand and its success similar to the pioneer clothing brands. What inspires and motivates them to continue is following up on the life, trials, and success of Daymond John from FUBU, Pharell from Billionaire Boys Club, and Marc Ecko from Ecko.

Loyol NYC has some really nice designs, my favorite design is the Foreign Currency Jersey. The thing I like most about the brand is encouraging people to be themselves and not being afraid of who they are. In a world full of insecurities and peer pressure it's important to still promote being a leader. I'm all about being yourself, especially, when you see so many catfishes and conformity. Not everyone is meant to be a leader but everyone should aspire to be one. I noticed while scrolling their instagram that they do a lot of giveaways with their supporters and that's really great to me. That shows their appreciation for everyone that supports them. A lot of successful people tend to go Hollywood after awhile and they haven't done that. I'm interested to see new designs and how they will end 2015. I expect their designs to be even more unique than the Foreign Currency design.
